Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
PASS (“we”, “us”) helps people track temporary handoffs — items, money, documents, and responsibilities. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account details such as phone number and display name.
- PASS content you create (what’s being passed, people involved, status, due dates).
- Invite and link activity needed to open handoffs in the app.
- Basic technical data (device, app version, crash diagnostics) to keep the service reliable.
How we use information
- To operate PASS: create accounts, deliver invites, sync handoffs, and show shared history.
- To secure accounts with phone verification.
- To improve reliability and fix issues.
Sharing
We share information with the other person in a PASS when you create or accept a handoff. We use trusted infrastructure providers (including hosting and authentication services) solely to run the product. We do not sell your personal information.
Nearby features
Nearby handoff uses on-device proximity technology. Distance and discovery stay on your devices; PASS still records the handoff in your shared history when you choose to complete it.
Retention & your choices
You can update your profile and manage PASSes in the app. Contact us if you need account deletion help. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
